Resurgence (Poems & Analysis)

In poetry, “Resurgence” which means a sense of renewal, revival, or rebirth. It signifies the rising again of something that was previously lost, suppressed, or dormant. Every poem is a newborn, a creation birthed from the depths of a poet’s soul. It’s a process as arduous and transformative as the physical birth of a child. Just as a mother carries a child for nine months, nurturing its growth and development, a poet must conceive, incubate, and deliver the poetic masterpiece. This can represent the revival of a character, theme, or idea after a period of decline or absence. This might involve a physical or metaphorical resurrection, or a renewed vigor or relevance. The journey begins with an idea, a spark of inspiration that ignites the imagination. It’s like a seed planted in fertile ground, waiting to sprout and blossom. The poet must tend to this seed, nourishing it with thought, emotion, and observation. Words are the nutrients that sustain the poem’s growth, and the poet must carefully select and arrange them to form a coherent and meaningful structure.
