The book is a discussion on the finer aspects of spirituality, devotion, yoga, knowledge, and moksha (freedom) among other things. It takes a detailed look at the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, Vedas, Upanishads, writings of great saints and other spiritual traditions. The intention of this book is to clarify the most important question for readers—what is the true meaning of life and what is life’s purpose? The book tries to lead towards understanding of the self and experience spiritual peace. The book explains few of the well-known shlokas from the Gita that stress the usefulness of doing good work, learning the truth and prayer even in the current times. The Gita says that the soul is eternal whose ultimate destination is to become one with the Supreme. The Vedas and Upanishads give us direction towards the enlightenment that self-realisation is our final goal.
